We have developed exceptional reputation through our quality care solutions and our friendly carers who provide an exceptional Personal Homecare service and Domestic Housekeeping services across The London Borough of Bromley and Bexley.
About You
The candidate will have to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills to liaise with Social Services, private clients and the care staff of the Company and utilise the available resources to maximise the hours.
You will have:
- Experience in the domiciliary care industry.
- Familiarity with geography of Bexley and/or Bromley Borough.
- Level 2 QCF or equivalent qualification desirable.
- Good working knowledge and experience of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to learn new software packages for rostering.
- Organised and good customer service skills.
- Willingness to undertake care calls in the community.
- Availability to work every alternate weekend at additional remuneration in addition to basic salary.
- Ability to undertake On Call duties during weekdays and weekends on a roster basis.
- Flexibility to work late or start early depending on requirements of the business.
- A full UK driving license, Company Car will be provided for business use only.
- Residence within reasonable commutable distance to Bexley / Bromley Borough.
Main duties will include:
- Accepting, allocating and processing referrals for new work efficiently.
- Roster geographically to maximise utilisation of resources.
- Accepting and processing changes and amendments to existing care packages.
- Assigning care workers to Service Users, whilst working within the standards and requirements of the company.
- Ensuring adequate cover is available for sickness, absenteeism or holidays.
- Work with the Assistant Manager to pre-empt recruitment needs.
- Working with other members of the administration team to ensure high quality service provision.
- Liaising with Service Users and workers to ensure an efficient service provision.
- Keeping accurate records on the system and working with the office team to ensure all data is up to date and relevant.
- Preparation of reports as required by the Social Services and CQC.
- Ensuring care worker rosters are completed on a timely basis for the week.
- You will be paid for on call duties and business mileage in addition to your basic salary.
