IT Support Technician - London





Position: IT Support Technician / 1st, 2nd & 3rd line IT help desk support
Location: North London

Our client owns a number of online sites. Due to the organic business growth in recent months, client is looking for a IT Support Technician to join their IT Support team.


We are looking to fill a position in North London. We need a customer orientated 1st/2nd line IT professional to work at our client’s office in North of London. You will be part of a highly skilled self-motivated team, whose primary objective is to ensure that the on-site IT support policies and procedures meet business requirements to the specified standards.
Salary c £25k-£30k + Bonus according to experience.


Responsibilities:


The successful candidate will look after the client’s 1st, 2nd and some 3rd line IT support issues from initial contact right through to completion.
You must maintain high levels of safety, availability and reliability for support, In line with business and legislative requirements by ensuring the effective and accurate provision of a diverse range of IT duties, in order to support the business as a whole in achieving IT goals and objectives.
You will be required to contribute to the timely achievement of personal, departmental and section goals, in order to meet and exceed the department strategy and TPIs. You will conduct your role of IT Support Engineer in an enthusiastic, positive and professional manner.
To support other members of the IT Department and site specific teams, in maintaining high levels of safety, availability and reliability for IT hardware and software.
Take ownership and management of IT issues and follow up in a very timely manner.


Key Skills and Experience


· Very good English communication skills.
· Great customer service skills.
· 1st, 2nd & 3rd line IT helpdesk support.
· Strong knowledge of Microsoft operating systems with emphasis on Windows 7, 8, 10.
· Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
· Self-motivated, well organised.
· Good IP networking skills.
· Troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve Windows system and software related issues.
· Printer setup, management and driver configurations.
· Experience with asset management.
· Experience of audio-visual work but not crucial.
· Some administration of Microsoft Exchange 2010 mailboxes useful.
