The College of Science, Engineering and Health (SEH) comprises four recently restructured large Schools delivering a broad range of programs in science, engineering, health and technology from apprenticeship, certificate, bachelor, masters to PhD levels. Many programs articulate between vocational and higher education, creating pathways for further study. 


The School of Health and Biomedical Sciences is seeking two Lecturers’ in Psychology. These positions will contribute to teaching and coordination of undergraduate and postgraduate Psychology programs. The positions will specialise in Psychology and will undertake research that is relevant to the chronic diseases and/or ageing population . The research may be in one or more of the following research areas: Clinical Psychology; Forensic Psychology; Psychological Assessment; Social Psychology; Health Psychology; Cognitive or Behavioural Psychology. 


To be considered for this opportunity you must hold a PhD in psychology or relevant field and be eligible for membership of the Australian Psychological Society (APS). You will have demonstrated ability to prepare, coordinate and deliver teaching courses in undergraduate and postgraduate Psychology and proven ability to develop innovative/original approaches to course delivery and student-centred learning. Your capacity to supervise research postgraduate students and your ability to develop and maintain links with business, community and industry will be essential to you success in this role. You will also demonstrate a strong track record in areas relevant to the chronic diseases and/or the ageing population.
