PART TIME PROPERTY MANAGER – £20,000 PRO RATA – HOME BASED COVERING LONDON


This is a varied and interesting role with a fast growing property management and investment company who manage and acquire residential property portfolios across London.


The role covers all aspects of property management & acquisition from inspections and viewings to liaison with tradesmen, agents and tenants.


The company sets demanding standards and targets, both for themselves and the team. Although the business is process driven it needs people who can use their initiative to problem solve and create solutions wherever possible.


The company is seeking someone with energy, enthusiasm and the ability to influence and manage people. You will have the opportunity to grow with this expanding organisation.


A genuine interest in property and a desire to be successful within this sector are vital pre-requisites.


You will be home-based and will need to be self-disciplined, able to work on your own initiative and prioritise a busy workload. You will be required to work on average 16 hours per week with a day every weekend to conduct viewings. All equipment, including a laptop, iPhone, scanner and printer will be provided. All travel expenses will be paid for by the company.


MAIN DUTIES – PROPERTY MANAGER


Reporting to the Managing Director of the company, the Property Manager will be required to:


– Conduct interim property inspections where required


– Check out tenants – conducting inspection and preparing the property to be re-let


– Conduct initial property inspections to identify works needed prior to letting


– Arrange and liaise with appointed tradesmen for access to properties to carry out repairs and refurbishments


– Take photographs and videos and measuring for floor plans


– Conduct viewings for potential tenants


– Check in new tenants – conducting schedules of condition, taking utility reading, signing of tenancies etc


– Day to day management of tenant issues


– Administer company documentation and systems as required


– Conduct property viewings


– Advertise properties


– Maintain the company’s website


– Conduct marketing campaigns


– Other tasks and errands as required


Education Requirements


GCSE / Scottish Standard Grade / BTEC or NVQ equivalent
A – Level / Scottish Highers / BTEC or NVQ equivalent

Salary: £20,000 pro rata based on average 16 hours per week.
