Receptionist (Part-time) - Second Home - London E1


Remuneration: £10 per hour


Start Date: As soon as possible.


In an iconic building designed by award- winning architects SelgasCano, Second Home provides access to a global network of entrepreneurs, innovators and creative leaders. Second Home offers both private and social workspaces, in a stimulating environment that supports new forms of collaboration and creativity. Companies based at Second Home include Bulb, TaskRabbit, Artsy, General Assembly, Visualise and White Star Capital.
In addition to creative workspace, we have a destination auditorium hosting a regular programme of events, films and gigs along with a restaurant and bar.


Responsibilities
– Act as a brand ambassador for Second Home
– The day-to-day running of the reception, which is the beating heart of Second Home
– Consistent delivery of the Second Home standard of service, which is unrivalled in the industry
– Deal with any and all member enquiries, from facilities issues to meeting room bookings
– Management of three email inboxes, making sure all enquiries and emails are dealt with in a timely manner
– General office maintenance and membership administration including (but not limited to): stationery orders, space keeping, distribution of post and updating and maintaining our CRM (Salesforce)


Personal attributes
– A keen eye for detail; you’ll be doing a lot of writing, and so a good grasp of grammer is essential
– Someone who works well in a team, and is flexible in their working hours
– A proven self-starter with lots of initiative who likes to get their hands dirty, and who often goes above and beyond in order to get the job done
– A thirst for knowledge and learning ,and curious about the arts, design, technology, entrepreneurship and everything our members are creating.
– Ambitious, as every role at Second Home comes with the potential for huge professional development
– A people person who thrives in high-pressure situations and is adept at dealing with many different types of people simultaneously
– As the point of contact for all members, guests and VIPs, a sunny disposition is essential
– Highly focused and organised

Required skills


– Must have 2 years experience as a receptionist.
– Multi-tasker
– Strong writing skills
– A strong command of the English language
– Highly organised
– Proficient in Microsoft Office


Desired skills

– Adobe Creative Suite knowledge (InDesign, Photoshop, etc.)
– CRM management skills (we use Salesforce)
