Sales Co-ordinator - Contract
Our client, a luxury brands retailer based in the West End, requires a Sales Co-ordinator. This is a 12 month maternity contract to start mid-March.
The main duties are assisting team in achieving the sell-in targets, managing stock and quota issues, client liaison by phone/email regarding orders, prices, availability, stockiest, deliveries, after sales, returns and complaints. You are required to prepare reports, assist the Area Sales Manager with information and product support, diary management, booking travel, ensure efficient logistics through liaison with the Distribution Centre and couriers for deliveries and returns, ensure efficient tracking of returns for credit and ensuring timely distribution of new catalogues and pricelists to the departments. You will be responsible for updating client database and distribution to all relevant teams, supporting the marketing team in event organisation, monthly internal seminars, retrial training session and sales events. Other duties include supporting the marketing team in management of incentive schemes and clerical duties and any other ad hoc projects as and when required.
The successful candidate will have previous experience in a secretarial capacity in a luxury wholesale role. You need to have excellent communication skills both spoken and written, comfortable being assertive over the phone, highly efficient, reliable, self-motivated, proactive and flexible. You need to have advance knowledge of all Microsoft packages (Excel, Word and PowerPoint), experience of NSI, Essbase and Cognos and knowledge of French is highly desirable!
