FAST TRACK LITIGATOR

We currently have a vacancy for a Senior Litigator, to work in the litigation department based in Bromley.

The successful candidate will be responsible for handling a portfolio of personal injury cases arising out of Road Accidents with a value of up to £25,000 entirely in Litigation.

The position would be ideally suited to someone with experience of handling Personal Injury cases and with a desire to handle a litigated caseload and who is looking for progression into the litigation area. The candidate will also have had some experience of handling litigated cases.

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate the following skills and have the following experience:-

• At least 3 years experience of working in a Personal Injury dept handling a caseload of personal injury claims


• Some experience in Personal Injury litigation to include issuing Part 7 proceedings.


• Technical ability to handle complicated and higher value cases


• A good understanding of the principles of the CPR


• A commitment to client care, good communication skills, telephone manner and attention to detail


• An ability to work in a highly organised way, to prioritise and to work to deadlines


• An ability to work as part of a team as well as on own initiative


• Be able to litigate files within 14 days of transfer from the litigation preparation team.
