Customer Service Assistant, Cookery School - Waitrose - London

• Can cultivate and maintain close relationships

• Some travel required for supplier visits and school locations

Day to day you’ll look after:

• Ensuring the daily customer journey is consistent and meets the required standards for the cookery school location


• Maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness in the school environment


• Maintenance, building and general facilities management


• Stock control (stationary, recipes, retail )


• Provide support to cookery school chefs in the delivery of course elements


• Following food news on trends in the world of food


• Having a thorough knowledge of courses and recipes


• Provide support where necessary to kitchen assistant to benefit front of house operation


• Reception and all course administration (including customer correspondence, emails, telephone messages, branch comms, info boards, course attendance sheets, health questionnaires)


• Provide support for marketing and Events Manager with bespoke event activities


• Maintaining course collateral for customers

Required essential experience skills and qualifications – Previous Customer Service environment, administrative/reception experience, hotels, bars or restaurants

• CRB checked with certificate

Required desirable experience skills and qualifications – First Aid Trained
