Operating within the Faculty of Health Sciences, the School of Psychology aims for excellence in teaching and research. The School has over 30 academic staff nationally at the Brisbane, Strathfield (Sydney) and Melbourne campuses.
As Senior Lecturer you will contribute to teaching and curriculum development in both undergraduate and postgraduate psychology and counselling courses, conduct research, supervise fourth-year and HDR students and contribute to the administration of academic programs. More specifically you will:
- prepare and deliver lectures, seminars and tutorials across a range of psychology and counselling units
- conduct a productive program of research demonstrated by the production of quality publications and attainment of research funding
- contribute to the School, Faculty and University through professional service and community engagement.
You will need to demonstrate:
- possession of a PhD in Psychology and professional recognition as demonstrated by membership or eligibility for membership of the Australian Psychological Society
- evidence of student-centred teaching and effective administration of subjects and/or courses at tertiary level
- research profile complementary to the research strengths of the School and experience in supervising fourth year and postgraduate student research in psychology
- evidence of ability to show commitment with integrity to the Catholic Identity, Mission and ethos of the University.

Total remuneration valued to $134,670 – $146,208 pa, including salary component $113,943 – $123,804 pa (Academic Classification Level C), employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
