Reed Further Education is currently recruiting for a Sports Lecturer to join a further education college in Bromley, Kent.

Our client has nearly 10,000 students; around 3,000 young people, 5,000 adult learners,1,000 apprenticeships, 750 higher education students and 100 14-15 year olds attending from local schools. They are one of the biggest employers in the Borough.

Primary Job Purpose:

To contribute effectively to the successful learning experiences of students in the college through effective teaching that meets or exceeds College standards and results in high levels of student retention and achievement.

Main Duties:

•Teach on BTEC Sport and Sport & Exercise Science courses ranging from levels 1-3
•Organise suitable guest speakers, educational visits and work placements
•Ensure an engaging and motivating learning experience for students through successful teaching and personal tutoring
•To make a significant contribution to curriculum development and course coordination

Essential:

A recognised teaching qualification
Relevant Sports qualifications
Experience teaching Level 2 BTEC / NQF Sport
