Theatre ANUM/Educator Needed for Melbourne Hospital

Leading healthcare provider requires experienced Orthopaedic Scrub/Scout ANUM and Educator for a small, busy theatre complex
• Fantastic opportunity to work with Australia’s largest private healthcare group
• Lead a busy team at this specialist theatre complex and day surgery
• Provide educational support for the existing team, students and new staff members
The Position:
• 30 hours a week, providing both management and education support
• Orthopaedic, plastics and max-fax surgical cases
• Provide team leadership and support the Perioperative Services Manager
• Demonstrated management experience and able to lead the team in the Managers absence
• Knowledge of and involvement in the Continuous Improvement process
• Educational support across all areas of the perioperative environment and all skill levels
About You:
• Current AHPRA Registration, without restrictions
• Post graduate qualifications in theatre essential
• Working knowledge of Australian College of Operating Room Nurses Standards (ACORN)
• You are passionate about providing service excellence and quality care.
• Experience in all aspects of theatre an advantage, but not essential
• Previous experience in a similar role desirable
