The Opportunity:
A senior Cyber & Information Security Consultant is sought to help Sungard Availability Services and their clients improve their Information Risk Management and respond to the intensifying global Cyber Security threat. In addition to providing advisory and technical support based on subject matter expertise the succesfull candidate will also be required to use their business acumen to ensure the solutions are pragmatic and cost effective.
Responsibilities
- Advises and implements best practice information security, security training and compliance processes for clients including: the development of accreditation documentation; developing and implementing security policies and; carrying out security audits.
- Undertakes information security tasks for security regulated clients such as providing advice and support in line with industry specific standards and best practice inlcuding (but not limited to) HMG, CESG, FCA and PCI-DSS.
- Provides leadership and/or expert contribution to client organisations ISO 27001 (formal information security accreditation) programs.
- Supports pre-sales activities by building relationships with clients and partners and promiting the brand within the market.
- Carries out security architechture design for clients as approporate.
- Carries out security risk assessments for clients as approporate.
- Offers management consultancy advice and practical assistance on information security risk and control matters and promotes the commercial advantages of managing information security risks more efficiently and effectively.
- Provides throught leadership in the areas of: Penetration testing, ISO27001-13, PCI-DSS, Event Monitoring (SIEM), Identity & Access Management, IDS/IPS, Data Loss Prevention, Digital Rights Management, Network Access Control, Payments Security technologies and SOC analysis.
- Work supportively with colleagues, operating in a collegiate manner at all times and in line with the Company’s values.
About You:
Qualifications/Professional Memberships:
- Good first degree or equivalent
Technical Competencies:
- Information Security (ISO 27001)
- Information Security Consulting experience
- CISSP and or CISM
- Data protection
Your Skills:
- Understands the internal and external client business factors impacting projects and manages client assignments effectively by delivering timely solutions while balancing priorities and managing time effectively
- Understands the consulting environment and its commercial aspects
- Uses a range of techniques, including facilitation, coaching and mentoring to deliver solutions of mutual benefit to clients and consultants
- Acts as a leader / adviser /coach to others in own area of discipline
Special Requirements:
- All candidates MUST be eligible to be put through SC level security clearance.
