EYFS Teacher required - Lewisham

Prospero Teaching is looking to recruit an EYFS Teacher to work in an SEN school based in the London Borough of Lewisham. This school situated in a brand new building has been designed to meet the children’s needs providing them with specialist state of the art facilities. This role is due to start in January and will run until the end of the academic year, with the view to be made permanent for the suitable individual.

This school have a welcoming, calm and purposeful atmosphere, a learning community which is responsive to the needs of all pupils as well as staff. This all through specialist school caters for children with a range of needs including children, who are on the Autistic Spectrum, those with Asperger’s syndrome and emotionally vulnerable pupils.

We are looking to appoint an EYFS teacher with EYFS experience or at least KS1 experience. SEN experience if desirable but the right candidate will have understanding and strong awareness of Special Educational Needs.

The successful EYFS teacher will be the teacher of a small class of 5-6 children three days a week as well as covering PPA once a week. We understand how important planning and preparation is to be able to run a class productively therefore this teacher will have one day a week for PPA.

To be eligible you must:
– Hold a Primary Teaching Qualification and QTS
– Be understanding and have strong communication skills
– Have outstanding classroom management and behaviour management skills.
