2 x Lecturers/Senior Lecturers in Occupational Therapy


£40,082 to £46,414 per annum or £47,801 to £55,389 per annum

At an exciting time of growth and investment, we are inviting applications for a number of lecturer and senior lecturer positions to expand our experienced and dedicated academic team.

We are seeking to appoint highly motivated individuals with an occupational therapy background and a proven academic track record. Successful candidates will be professionally registered occupational therapists, with expertise in line with the School’s strategic themes in one or more of the following areas: technologies and interventions to maintain independence in older age, including the development of sustainable interventions with dementia; occupational health and mental wellbeing; child development: supporting participation, and living with disability. For candidates applying for the ATR pathway, we are particularly interested in candidates who have research interests in Health Promotion and Prevention, Dementia Care, Rehabilitation and Health Services Research. 


Applications are actively invited from candidates with an interest in, and the ability to take on, an important course leadership opportunity within the team.


All applicants for academic teaching scholarship (ATS) pathways will hold a minimum of a good first degree and a higher degree or equivalent in a health related field. Applicants for academic teaching research (ATR) pathways will be qualified to Doctorate level in a relevant field and have a track record of high quality research activity with potential for 3* and 4* research quality.


Senior Lecturer applicants will have demonstrable experience of effective academic leadership.


The posts will be subject to a criminal record check from the Disclosure and Barring Service.
