We seek to appoint an experienced clinician with specific expertise in either parenting or cognitive behaviour therapy, to provide input to our new Children & Young People’s IAPT postgraduate programmes. We are an internationally recognised centre of excellence in the provision of evidence-based psychological therapies.
You will have:
- Excellent clinical skills using evidence-based psychological treatment such as cognitive behaviour therapy to help children and young people with mental health problems
- Excellent supervisory skills of therapists working with children & young people
- Excellent teaching skills
- Ability to mark effectively, consistently, to tight schedules and to use standardised measures appropriately
- Exceptional ability to communicate the evidence-based psychological therapies for children & young people, these communication skills must be both written and verbal
- Ability to understand where difficulties may arise with implementing the evidence-based psychological therapies for children & young people
- Some travel to London is required with expenses paid
