Hotel Group Financial Controller - Central London - £negotiable




Hotel role:- Our client is a small group of Hotels in Central London, seeking to bring its finance function in house, having previously outsourced it to its Accountants. The role will be titled either Finance Manager or Financial Controller or Group Financial Controller. Whatever the title, you will head up the finance function and supervise two junior bookkeepers and report to the owner and external Accountants.


You will have full responsibility for the accounts of 4 hotels, producing monthly management accounts and managing cash flow and working capital, debtors and creditors, overseeing the ledger work and producing VAT returns and balance sheet reconciliations, budgets and financial analysis. As the company grows, you will take on more responsibility.


You should have previous experience in Hotels, preferably on site or ina head office and be experienced enough to take on full day to day responsibility for a finance function. Experience in a hotel is more important than qualifications and we will consider QBE, ACCA, ACMA, CIMA and ACA accountants.
