The role
The Fashion & Technology – Emerging Futures (FTEF) project is a £5.3 million initiative sponsored by London College of Fashion in partnership with the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). The project is delivered through the CFE, and delivers business support to SMEs in the fashion and fashion tech sector, It capitalises on the new fashion + tech eco-system emerging in London to drive growth through greater cross sector collaboration and to develop innovative products and services.
You’ll play a leading role in the successful delivery of this exciting, innovative and challenging project. Working with emerging designer businesses and fashion tech companies, you will be responsible for ensuring the project outputs, meeting agreed objectives and targets. As the key point of contact for your LCF colleagues involved in the project, the project partners and the EPMU, you will have a significant relationship management responsibility. You will also have a key role in the day to day management of the project activities and programmes.
Your profile
You will be a highly experienced project management professional with an Honours Degree or equivalent in a relevant field, with highly effective coordination, communication and leadership skills. You will have demonstrable knowledge of the issues that face small businesses, as well as both public sector and commercial business experience. You will thrive in a customer focused environment, whilst ensuring the requirements of all administrative and financial systems for an ERDF funded programme. Knowledge and understanding of the fashion industry and/or fashion & technology sector would be an advantage for this role.
