The Company
Our client is a well-established independent estate agency with a brand that has become highly regarded among competitiors and industry professionals. This agency are best known for their over-active, energetic, dedicated and committed team of excellently trained agents striving for top end earnings whilst delivering a fantastic service giving this agency an excellent track record. On average they gain in excess of 60 instructions monthly and close these new instructions rapidly. They are known for ascertaining quality staff and maintaining them long term by providing generous pay packages and commission structures with the progression and growth their ambitious agents are aspiring for. This is a company with a commanding lead on their market, in doing so they have been enabled to open more branches and expand their reach exponentially.
The Role
As the Sales Manager you will head a team of Sales Negotiators insuring the team achieve all their targets.
Duties
You must be performance driven and possess the ability to reach and exceed fiscal targets; additional to these targets, you must be able to hit and surpass personal and team targets. You are a leader that must take control of your team and drive them to fulfil their targets and succeed under your management. By inspiring and directing the team you will become enabled to achieve your own targets and excel your personal earnings. There is a strong emphasis on your leadership skills as well as your extensive experience within the Sales industry. In this process you must develop professional relationships with colleagues, clients and applicants; to which a strong attention to detail is essential, not just in your client relationships but in all administrative aspects with paperwork, legislation and confidentiality. You will assist in closing deals with their applicants and your clients. Much of your time will be spent outside of the office visiting vendors performing valuations and gaining instructions by providing a professional but personable service. You must be able to communicate confidently; to establish the requirements and requests of applicants and clients and to negotiate the best deals possible for the clients.
Person Specification
The ideal candidate will be someone who is justifiably confident with excellent interpersonal skills and rapid rapport building skills. You must be able to lead and inspire a team to function effectively. The model employee is an outgoing character possessing a positive attitude to all tasks; one motivated by targets and fiscal rewards. Pro-active and flexible approach to working hours, being a team-player able to establish an effective dynamic with both colleagues and clients in order to motivate and drive the team to success.
Essential Criteria
- A full, valid UK or EU driving license and eligibility to work in the UK is essential for the role
- Your own vehicle suitable for work purposes
- Extensive experience in sales with managerial experience
- Experience in valuations and gaining instructions
Desirable Criteria
- Ideally approximately 10 years’ experience and more
- A graduate degree in any discipline
