A school in east London is seeking an SEN TA to work with a junior aged child with emotional and behavioural difficulties(EBD).

Working closely with the child, you will be his 1:1 support in the school. Although the majority of the time will be spent in the classroom, there will be times when you will be in a separate area, especially if he is struggling with the day.

He is an able child and likes to be challenged academically, so you will be assisting with his learning, not just behaviour.

Prior experience is ideal for this role as he can be very challenging on occasions, but the school require an assistant who is patient, encouraging and motivated to see him succeed both academically and socially.

An excellent level of spoken and written English is also essential for this role.
