Software Development Tech/Team Leader – Pay only 15% income tax!

(Please note this role is based in Bangkok,Thailand. You must be willing to relocate – full visa and relocation package provided).

Role:

My client seeks an experienced technical lead to join this mission critical team that deals with the designing and development of a system that serves hundreds of millions of users. Are you a top-notch tech/team leader with extensive knowledge and experience in Scala and/or Java?

You are the ideal candidate if you have a background in design and implementation of scalable, resilient architecture and an understanding of algorithms, data structures and design patterns. You will be a critical thinker and have a strong communication skills with the ability to work in a very multi-cultural environment.

Requirements:

– Outstanding technological and hands on programming abilities in Scala and/or Java – a must.

– Good command of the English language – a must.

– Leadership qualities and sense of ownership – A must.

– Experience with high-availability systems that are servings at least tens of millions of requests/users daily – a (very) big plus.

– Extensive Scala Knowledge – a big plus.

– Team leading experience – a plus.

– Experience with high-availability systems that are servings at least tens of millions of requests/users daily – a (very) big plus.

– Experience with the behavior of circuit breakers, timeouts, fallbacks and retries under load – a plus.

– NoSQL knowledge – a plus.

– Good understanding of Scrum/Agile methodologies – a plus.
