In the REF the Psychology Department returned 28 FTE (over 30 individual members of staff), 67% of its research was rated world-leading or internationally excellent and it was ranked 29th in the UK for research power. 


Person Specification


The Department is seeking to appoint an outstanding academic to a Lectureship in Counselling Psychology. The appointed individual will hold a doctorate in Psychology, will demonstrate existing or emerging world-leading or internationally excellent research which complements the Department’s research portfolio, will have the potential to secure research funding and the ability to educate and supervise at undergraduate and postgraduate levels including the Professional Doctorate in Counselling Psychology.
