We are seeking an enthusiastic and ambitious Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Occupational Therapy to join our team within the School of Human and Health Sciences. Your role will be to work within a small team of Occupational Therapists within the Department of Health Sciences. Your primary focus will be to develop and deliver the BSc (Hons) Occupational Therapy and, where appropriate, wider contributions to the educational, research and enterprise activity of the Department.
Applications from candidates with clinical expertise in community rehabilitation, paediatrics or mental health and/or a strong research profile specifically in Occupational Therapy will be particularly welcomed.
A Master’s degree and the capacity to register for doctoral study within 12 months of appointment is essential for Lecturer level and a PhD (or nearing completion) is required for Senior Lecturer level. A teaching qualification or membership of the Higher Education Academy, or capacity to obtain this within 12 months of appointment is an essential requirement for both.
