Research Assistant in Psychology

Part Time 0.4fte, fixed term for 6 months


Applications are invited for a part-time research assistant to work in the Division of Psychology at Brunel University London. The position is funded by a Bial Foundation grant awarded to Dr Lúcia Garrido and Dr Nicholas Pound.


The post-holder will work directly with Lúcia Garrido and Nicholas Pound, as well as other members of their labs. The specific project relates to physiological responses to emotions using thermal imaging.


Applicants must have an undergraduate, masters, or PhD in Psychology or related disciplines. They should be enthusiastic, well motivated, and be able to work independently and collaboratively. They need to have research experience and good knowledge of statistics. Programming skills (e.g. using Matab or Python) will be valued.
