Senior Finance Manager - TV / Entertainment
A Global US Entertainment Business that are a household name in TV and Broadcast are looking to hire an Experienced Senior Finance Manager to help guide a recently restructured finance team through an exciting period of change.
This role will be responsible for overseeing day to day financial operations and accounting with a strong team of transactional accounts staff across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Credit Control and Billings reporting in to the role, with two managers. The role has a strong European focus, so you will have experience with managing key stakeholder relationships on an International basis with internal operating companies as well as multi-currency transactions, preferably within a shared service centre type background.
This role will be a key contributor towards management accounts and value added analysis, ensuring continuous improvement and driving change through implementing new procedures and processes and bringing overall stability to the department as it develops. The finance manager will lead from the front and be happy to roll up their sleeves and be involved from the ground up when required – somebody that’s happy to dig in to resolve issues and train / develop others.
This position will take ownership for the balance sheet in line with SOX, ownership and control of allocated costs on a European and Global basis. Support and contribute to reporting, forecasting and planning activity, develop a wide range of analysis relating to trends, revenue and performance providing key stakeholders with transparent reports to give them ability to support business decisions. Lastly, this role will manage all Treasury, Stats and Tax and deputise for the Finance Director when required.
You are an experienced Qualified Accountant with at least 3+ years PQE and a proven track record of being in roles that drive change and implementing improvements in a European wide / multi-currency role. Experience in a large US complex matrix type business is preferred, as is experience of managing transactional functions in a shared service centre function. You are IT Literate, having potentially implemented systems and driven new initiatives to make departments more efficient. Experience of working in International Media or TV businesses is preferred, but not essential.
