Systems Analyst– SQL, Use Case, Sequence Diagram, ISEB, Data Models
My client, a leading Government organisation based in London are looking for a Systems Analyst for an initial 6 month contract with the potential to extend.
Role Responsibilities
• Define and document solutions and changes producing comprehensive specifications aided with structured analysis techniques and methodologies such as process/logical data models/functional hierarchies, use case / activity /sequence diagrams.
• Ensure system deliveries are in line with business and system requirements.
• Validate understanding and solutions with business representatives and technical team and transfer knowledge to them.
• Drive the delivery of functionality agreed with business representatives by liaising with developers and testers.
• Active involvement in system design, ensuring applications are efficient, usable and streamlined taking into account the underlying Business Processes.
• Analysis of issues, finding root cause, agreeing solutions and documenting them, leaving the resolution ready for development or test.
• Highlight dependencies, risks, issues, assumptions and changes to manager Revision of business requirements and systems requirements.
Essential Experience:
• Prior business and system analysis experience
• Prior solid experience of process modelling and systems design tools.
• Able to interrogate a database via SQL.
• Workshop and meeting facilitation and presentations skills.
• Successfully persuades and influences easily.
• Ensures relevant planning & organising of work.
DESIRABLE
• ISEB certification or course.
• Experience within the Government sector.
• Experience liaising with Technical Vendors.
• Business Process Modelling (BPM).
• Experience with Jira and Confluence.
