Inclusion TA
A ‘good with outstanding features’ primary school in the London borough of Islington are looking for additional help in the form of a Teaching Assistant to work in their Inclusion department.
The school is facing some challenges – in the form of negative behaviours – and subsequently is looking for positive role models to work in unison and implement positive strategies which can then be implemented across school.
Successful applicants would need to be;
*Understating of emotional and behavioural difficulties
*Proactive
*Able to recognise students in crisis, or escalating towards this
*Patient
*Empathetic with vulnerable information
*Assertive
*Driven to learn more about positive handling strategies
If you are disciplined, thorough in your approach and wanting to make a difference in young people’s lives, then this could be ideal.
The role would be term-time only, 5 days a week. 8.30-4pm. If the role proves to be effective as hoped, there could be opportunity for a permanent appointment
late 2015/early 2016.

*You must have the legal right to work in the UK
*You must hold QTS or a UK recognised equivalent teaching qualification
*This position is subject to an Enhanced CRB Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances
(if applicable) and professional reference checks
*Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any
employment breaks must be explained
