Applications are invited for a fixed-term Lectureship post in the School of Psychology at NUI Galway. Applicants should possess a doctorate relevant to clinical neuroscience (Psychology, Cognitive neuroscience, neuroimaging, etc) and have relevant third-level teaching experience. Applicants must also be active in research, and possess a strong peer-reviewed publication record.


The successful applicant will have expertise in the area of Cognitive Neuroscience and will have primary responsibilities within the new MSc in Clinical Neuroscience (commencing September 2016). They will contribute to academic administration, and the School’s involvement in teaching, research, and/or professional activities of relevance to the wider community.


The School of Psychology has a reputation for teaching and research excellence, with approximately 1,000 students enrolled on undergraduate degrees and Higher Diploma programmes. MSc programmes are provided in health psychology and applied behavioural analysis. The School offers a number of structured PhD programmes in addition to the Doctor of Psychological Science in Clinical Psychology.

Salary:


€36,230 to €56,782 p.a. (applicable to new entrants effective from January, 2011


(This appointment will be made on the Lecturer Fixed Term scale in line with current Government pay policy)
