Role – Technology/Business Change Transformation Project manager

Location – London

Salary – £60,000 to £70,000 + Bens and Bonus

An IT/Business Change Transformation Project manager project manager is need for a new blueprint project. The ideal change specialist will need to have either Ministry of defence, Central Government or home office experience and be Security cleared (SC ) or clearable.

The Role

Our client is looking to change their back office and systems as they need a new approach to technology and must be able to support the full transition

The new systems need to be:

1. Better/Cheaper


2. Enable a data driven organisation


3. Allows us to change what we need to change quickly, quickly.

At present our client has a white board and the role will what shall we do? Rather than is what we do. You will be leading a small team of technical people the size of the team is not confirmed as yet and will be defined by the agreed change solution.

Activities will include:

• Plan business change activities for the project


• Deliver and implement Project Change approach, plan and strategy


• Coordinate the design and delivery of: Business Implementation Team and/or Change Network (engage with users)


• Communications strategy and plan


• Training Needs Analysis strategy and plan


• Appropriate change impact assessment work


• Business Readiness activities


• Stakeholder Engagement and management approach


• Lead and promote effective ways of working within the team


• Lead the transition


• Reporting, planning, managing to plan, managing risks/issues, appropriate escalation

The successful IT/Business Change Transformation Project manager must have: –

• Ministry of defence, Central Government or home office experience.


• Security cleared (SC) or clearable.


• Experience of full life cycle Project Management


• Project Management methodologies Like Prince II, PMP , PMI, lean six sigma


• Ability to be flexible to the needs of the business but be confident and assertive when necessary


• Proven track record in successfully managing technology and systems related projects


• Proven ability in relationship building and influencing skills in a business and IT environment
