Cafe Assistant - Pink food - London

Café/kitchen assistant required for busy Café and event venue.

We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our small-dedicated team. This position is full time and permanent. The Café is situated in Camden inside one of London’s busiest Music, Dance and Events Venues. All of our food is freshly prepared on site on a daily basis.

We serve breakfasts, lunches, all day savory items and cakes. The service can be extremely busy, so you’ll need to be used to working in a kitchen and dealing with the pressures of service. You can expect variety in this position, as you will be expected to help in all areas of the kitchen and cafe.

Shifts are varied times with a mixture of weekdays and weekends although the position we are looking to fill will consist mostly of daytime shifts.
We are looking for someone to start before the end of May.

The cafe is open 10:00 – 18:00 or 10:00 – 21:00 depending on the daily schedule so you would be expected to be available during these hours.
You must be flexible and enjoy working as part of a team in order to help keep our high standard of customer care.
You must have excellent written and spoken English.
Customer service experience is essential and experience in catering or events is an advantage.

Additionally, the Venue also caters for a range of large scale events including corporate lunches, weddings and private parties throughout the year.
