We are currently working with a school in South London which has a boarding School in West Sussex. They are currently looking to recruit 2 boarding assistants. One to work in the boys’ wing and the other to work in the girls’ wing. The position is to cover for 5 to 7 weeks, however for the right person there is the opportunity of the role continuing.

Duties will include waking up male students at 7am and putting them to bed, classroom support, serving at meal times, break duties. The school day is from 9am – 6.15pm, however during these hours there will be periods where you will have down time.

You will be taken by coach from a Central Location in London Monday morning and dropped back on Friday afternoon. Experience of working within an Inner London secondary school is advantageous.

For this position the school are open to offering very competitive rates of pay.

Key skills and experience needed:

• University degree or A Level qualification


• Previous support work within a London school or other child related experience


• Professional manor


• Enthusiasm and friendly approach
