Our Client, a global construction company are currently recruiting for a Document Controller based in Waterloo. The ideal candidate will have a great work ethic, understand the importance of being able to work in a pressured environment and feel comfortable doing so. Our client is looking for someone with a bubbly personality who enjoys working in a construction environment.

The Document Controller will be maintaining dataset registers, maintaining document control filing, producing reports to site team engineers when necessary, photocopying/Scanning Of documents, issuing Of document, reference Numbers (When Required), issuing Of Correspondence (If Required) and archiving/Retrieval.

Salary: £24,000 – £25,000

To succeed in the role you will have the following skills and experience:

• Knowledge of document management standards, procedures and instructions


• Working knowledge of computer programs for records tracking, archival, retention, and storage


• Sufficient experience of documentation and processes within an engineering based environment or Construction


• Working knowledge of bulk scanning and scanning systems


• Full knowledge of Document Management Procedures and Processes Knowledge of Data Management Procedures


• Literacy in Microsoft Software Systems – Word and Excel – Intermediate Level


• Full knowledge of process on scanning and PDF functionality


• Knowledge of a typical Engineering construction project lifecycle


• Knowledge of Construction Environment Lifecycle


• Knowledge of Aconex
