FINANCIAL CONTROLLER, MANUFACTURING/WHOLESALE, LONDON W1

Based in the West End our client is a highly successful private company established for over 30 years, with a t/o of c. £15m. They manufacture mens tailoring in a variety of locations, the main sources being Italy and the Far East and then wholesale them to large Household named stores across the UK. They are now looking to recruit a Financial Controller who will take a sole charge position. The role is all round and will include: dealing with all book keeping matters on Sage, preparation of monthly management accounts and dealing with all reconciliations, managing the internal stock system and reconciling to financial records and information retained by the warehouse, assisting with merchandise costings, credit control, preparation of VAT returns, Treasury function, preparation of annual forecasts and budgets for Board approval, preparing annual audit packs and dealing with general admin matters. Candidates will Qualified/Part Qualified ACCA/ACA/ACMA or Qualified By Experience. Experience of working in the wholesale sector and stock management experience is essential. Experience of Sage accounting and Excel are also necessary. Good inter-personal skills are important as you will be liaising in-house with a wide range of people.
