Learning Disabilities Social Worker

Our client in South West London is looking for a Qualified Social Worker to join their Learning Disabilities Team. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to join a well managed and structured borough that has a very good reputation in London.

You will be offered on going support and development and the borough operates an equal policy for both their temporary and permanent staff members.

You will be responsible for working with varied service users and complex cases the client requires strong knowledge in learning disabilities and confidence in the ability to hit the ground running.

To fit into this specific team, you will required to assess the needs of people with learning disabilities against criteria for service, devise and cost appropriate support plans then implement them.
You will be working in a similar post qualified role for an extensive period of time and will need to have a good understanding of Safeguarding and how it applies.

Our client will consider Newly Qualified Social Workers with a Statutory placement in a Learning Disabilities team.
