A full time vacancy has arisen within the school for a senior lecturer in Mental Health. This exciting career opportunity will provide the successful candidate with a leadership role for Mental Health. As an innovative and inspiring academic you will have responsibility for the development and oversight of the quality enhancement in relation to undergraduate and postgraduate education programme management.
You will be an established and experienced lecturer and researcher with a PhD/Doctorate qualification (or nearing completion) and 1st level registration in a relevant health/nursing field. As an Academic and Professional Lead in this area, experience and commitment to leading and developing a cohesive team of staff is essential.
By joining this dynamic academic team you will make a significant contribution to the undergraduate and postgraduate student experience. A proven track record of a commitment to collaboration and partnership working is essential as you will work closely with our clinical partners to develop sustainable programmes for a changing and challenging health and social care need.
In addition you will contribute to the local, national and international research and knowledge exchange activity of the subject area working closely with the Research Institute of Healthcare Policy and Practice.
A teaching qualification and experience in teaching in Higher Education is a requirement for this position.
