Day Care Assistant / Driver required for Doggy Day Care company - Capital Dog Care - London N6
Capital Dog Care is a professional dog services company providing countryside day care for North London dogs. We are currently looking for a first-class assistant day carer / van driver to join us and help care for our fantastic pack of dogs Monday – Friday.
Duties will include:
. Collecting our clients’ dogs from their homes in Highbury, Stoke Newington, Hornsey, Crouch End and Highgate first thing in the morning and transporting them in our purpose-built dog van to our countryside location
. Supervising the pack throughout the day, ensuring they are safe and enjoying themselves
. Being responsible for cleaning the facilities and the van
. Dropping off the energy-zapped and happy dogs back to their homes at the end of the day
Aside from a love of dogs of all shapes and sizes, applicants must:
. Have prior experience of handling groups of dogs (other than your own / your family’s / your friends’ dog / dogs)
. Live in North London
. Speak good English
. Be friendly & well presented
. Have a full clean UK driver’s license and be an expert van driver
. Be comfortable working alone during the pick-up and drop-off after the training period
. Be able to meet the physical demands of the role
. Be happy working outdoors whatever the weather
. Be eligible to work in the UK
. Be responsible & reliable
. Be able to provide sound references

. 3-month probationary period
Hours: 8am – 6pm, Monday to Friday
Rate of pay: £7.50 per hour, increasing to £8 per hour upon successful completion of probationary period. We are open 48 weeks per year so the successful candidate can expect to earn in excess of £18,500 per annum.
