Account Manager - Telecommunications



Job title: Account Manager – Telecommunications


Location: North London


Salary: £30,000 to £35,000 + Uncapped OTE + Benefits + Company Bonus

About our client:


Our client is a well established Telecommunications solutions provider with a network of offices across the UK. The appointee will join a proactive, successful and professional Account Management team.


Duties to include but not limited to:


  • Manage a portfolio of existing clients

  • Ensure sales targets are being met and exceeded

  • Generate new business sales from existing clients ensuring the best interest of client is in mind at all times.

  • Organise, host and attend client meetings at their locations, communicating regularly with them all

  • Ensure all paperwork (Inc. electronic) is completed correctly, in full and on time

  • Add all client correspondence on to internal system.

  • Act and look professional with honesty and integrity.

  • Keep abreast of new technology products within the Telecommunications sector.

  • Ensure all relevant manufacturers personal accreditation’s are kept up to date

  • Manage client issues to acceptable conclusions and within designated time frames

  • Attend sales meetings when required

The candidate and experience required:


  • You will have a proven track record of achieving sales targets in an Inside client facing solution based selling role.

  • You will have a minimum of 2-3 year’s experience selling IT or Telecommunications products, or have an in depth understanding of selling an amalgamation of the following – Microsoft Server, Office 365, Microsoft Azure, WM Ware and Cloud Solutions, Network design, leased lines, router, firewall and switching.

  • You must have experience selling Avaya, Mitel & Unify (Siemens)

  • Ability of forecasting sales figures and collating sales reports accurately.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Able to create, manage and maintain accessible documents.

Multi Skilled Operative



This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast growing contractor who work within the repairs and maintenance sector. They require a Multi-skilled Operative to carry out general repairs on social housing across the Croydon region. You must have a trade background in either Joinery, Plumbing, Plastering, Tiling or Painting and have a broad understand of other trades. The ideal candidate will be able to work alone and unsupervised. The role will involve been given a job sheet of properties to attend including the work to be carried out and you will spend your day travelling between each property and carrying out all work to the highest possible standard. Applications will only be accepted from candidate’s who can demonstrate a very good understanding of their own trade and a basic understanding of others, for example, a Joiner who can show his understanding of how to fit a kitchen but can also do basic plumbing and tiling. Exciting Assistant Financial Accountant role for a niche but well known retail brand. As a fast growing business the finance team is adding headcount to cope with demand and future proof itself for the forecasted growth over the next 3 years. Responsibilities:


  • Preparation of VAT returns for UK companies and reconciliation of related balance sheet accounts

  • Maintenance of the Fixed Asset Register, depreciation and capital reporting

  • Accounting for property costs, including rent, turnover rents, concessions accounting and maintenance costs

  • Budgeting and forecasting for property related costs, capital spend and depreciation

  • Accounting for the Delivery Company which covers distance selling in the EU

Accounts Assistant



We have an opportunity for an experienced Credit Controller / Accounts Assistant to join our Accounts Team based in Primrose Hill. We require an individual with excellent organisational and communication skills with a good working knowlege of Sage Line 50, Excel and payroll administration.


The role:


Sales Ledger



  • Confirmation of timesheets and dealing with queries which may arise




  • Printing and posting of weekly invoices to clients




  • Reconciling Invoice Finance Bank account to Sage Line 50.




  • Updating of Invoice Finance bank control account spreadsheet for monthly submission to bank




  • Monthly liaising with bank dealing with any retention related queries




  • Banking of all incoming cheques




  • Provide information on weekly sales invoicing figures to MD and Finance Manager




  • Liaising with in-house Team and Client to obtain invoicing Purchase orders, addresses, details and procedures.




  • Logging all receipts and recording them onto both Sage Line 50 & IF control account spreadsheet.




  • Produce weekly cashflow report


    Credit Control




  • Daily credit control to confirm receipt of current invoices, confirm payment arrangements with the Client and to chase overdue invoices.




  • Producing bi-weekly statements, credit notes and copy invoices.




  • Ensuring timely payments from Clients using various channels of communication whilst trying to maintain good Client relations – being firm but fair.




  • Resolving Client and internal queries and escalating queries and concerns to the appropriate members of Finance and/or management team.




  • Establishing a routine and procedures going forward to minimise ageing debts.


    Year End




  • Assisting with preparation of the Year End Audit File

Job Summary

The residents in our care home really relish meal times. Join us at Elizabeth Lodge as our head chef and cook up some great meals, and you’ll be the star of show at every meal time and enjoy some great benefits too.


Care UK is one of the UK’s leading providers of health and social care services. We’re looking for a Head Chef able to co-ordinate all aspects of kitchen life, from menu planning to hygiene, staff development to health and safety.


You’ll ensure your kitchen team pulls together to produce three meals a day and ad hoc orders to tight timings and the highest standards. You’ll also be responsible for stock ordering and regular kitchen audits and you’ll prepare and cost up menus for our regular social events. You’ll have previous experience as a head chef in a high cover environment and understand the importance of creating nutritionally balanced menus for residents. Key Responsibilities

• To implement and supervise all aspects of kitchen control e.g. menus, hygiene, health and safety, staff, cleaning and waste control.
• To identify and recruit all grades of staff under your control within the agreed guidelines.
• To supervise and develop staff using the available company resources, to maximise their potential.
• To order catering consumables from current nominated suppliers in line with Company
Purchasing policy.
• To have full understanding of H.A.C.C.P, to ensure all staff adhere to H.A.C.C.P and all documentation are completed and sighed are by the appropriate members of staff
• To complete monthly audits for kitchen reporting any finding to home manager
• To prepare menus for the nursing home taking into account the content, balance, colour and nutritional values, inline with agreed budget.
• To consult with residents on a regular basis to ensure that their needs and choices are being met.
• To prepare special diets for residents as directed by the nursing staff.
• To maintain the agreed stock levels of food.
• To implement and maintain an agreed deep cleaning schedule for the kitchen.
• To carry out stock takes at the end of each month.
• To implement four weekly rota.
• To work within agreed budget guidelines on staff costs and consumables and to co-operate in any action necessary so as to keep to budget.
• To assist in the preparation of function menus and costing.
• To co-operate with requests from the Home Manager and residents wherever possible.
• To attend resident/relative meetings whenever possible.
• To carry out staff supervision adhering to home policies.
• To complete all staff personal development reviews.


Skills & Experience

• Significant Head Chef experience
