The Royal Opera House aims to enrich people’s lives through opera and ballet. Home to two of the world’s great artistic companies – The Royal Opera and The Royal Ballet, performing with the Orchestra of the Royal Opera House – the organization seeks to be accessible and engaging.
Last year we staged 543 performances, we welcomed 774,000 people to our shows and of the tickets we sold 45% cost less than £50.
We are currently looking for Box Office Sales Assistants to join our team and to offer the best possible welcome and advice to our audience, whilst maximising sales.

To be effective in this role you will need to be able to demonstrate the following:
Impeccable customer service skills, in person and over the phone
Outstanding communication skills both written and verbal
Strong sales and payment handling skills
Great teamwork
Good computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office
Ability to work well under front-line pressure and plan ahead
The following shift patterns are currently available: Monday/Tuesday/Thursday/Friday/Saturday 16:15 to 20:15, (20 hours)
Monday/Saturday 09:45 to 18:15, (16 Hours)
Saturday 12:00 to 20:30, (8hours)

You should be available to attend a full week of induction training in the week commencing 14 March 2016 (10:00 to 18:00 each day) and then commence your regular shift pattern the following week.
