Sales Consultant - MDS Sales
 
 
The position in question is a Sales Consultant – MDS. The role is perfect for people with a passion for managed document solutions technology. This will really give you an opportunity to learn and develop within a multi-award winning solutions integrator who have been about for over 20 years.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Effective and creative sales of our products and services to prospective clients including (but not exclusive to) presentations and demos of CVD’s solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
 - Managing complex, solution sales cycles; working closely with pre-sales.
 - Competently explain and present solution components and features with emphasis on workflow and document management.
 - Maintain awareness and understanding of the differences between CVD solutions and competitive offerings.
 - Intelligent self-generation of new business opportunities through focus on particular verticals, business drivers and market.
 - Development of own prospect pipeline in order to meet and exceed agreed monthly sales targets.
 - Management of own time for calls, networking, travel and preparation of proposals
 - Liaison pre-sales. Providing accurate and timely forecasts and recording all activity on Company systems (CRM, CBS etc)
 - Manage and coordinate responses to requests for product and services information (RFIs and RFPs) from external parties, clients and prospects.
 - Seasoned sales professional with proven track record from Electronic Document Management (EDM) or background with working knowledge of workflow solutions.
 - Excellent knowledge of one or more Enterprise Applications (ECM, workflow, web-based applications, OS, Networking and Security).
 - Expertise in managing complex, solution sales cycles, and working closely with pre-sales
 - Credible and competent B2B operator at senior management level (C-level decision makers)
 - Ability to assess business processes and architect lasting solutions for customers.
 - Ability to assist with the entire sales lifecycle, including Needs Analysis, Design, and Demonstration of CVD applications.
 - Experience with presenting technical material.
