As a graduate trainee recruitment consultant you can expect to earn £45,000 in on target earnings in your first year with a basic salary of £20,000. There will also be many other fringe benefits such as all-expenses paid holidays, weekends away and, for top-performers, watches, shopping trips and even cars for weekends.

To become a graduate recruitment consultant requires someone who is well qualified with a 2:1 degree and preferably at least 6 months sales experience. You must be highly self-motivated and ambitious with the ability to be resilient in a fast-paced environment. Charisma and confidence are a must.

As a graduate recruitment consultant you will be dealing with candidates, managing existing clients and winning new business. You will be able to effectively run your own business within another business, with your success dependent on how hard you work.
