Strategy Consultant

This is the chance to be part of a growing consultancy, who have recently opened a London office. My client is looking for a strategy consultant, preferably from a mathematical or analytical background. This opportunity is to work with large clients within a variety of sectors.

Founded in 2006 in France, my client is a consulting firm specialized in the use of best-in-class statistical insight to help companies make brighter decisions. With a strategy consultant base of 80, they have experienced rapid growth since its inception with plans to reach 100 consultants by the end of 2015. In order to reinforce our international presence, the London office was launched in 2014 followed by offices in Hong Kong and New York which opened earlier this year.

Responsibilities will include:

• Data analysis / Modeling / Advanced analytics / Machine Learning


• Providing our clients with bespoke solutions to face their challenges


• Total involvement in one or two projects from start to final recommendations


• Client facing role


• You may need to travel

Profile

My client is looking for a talented strategy consultant with the following:

• A minimum of 2.1. Honours degree or equivalent (predicted or gained) in Statistics, Economics, Econometrics or related numerical field.


• Strong interest in business issues


• Autonomy and dynamism in a really young and challenging environment


• A practical and analytical mind-set, you will be passionate about the creation of bespoke solutions for our clients


• Continuously striving for high performance in all you do


• Good Communication skills


• Proficient in Microsoft Office


• Knowledge of statistical software would be an advantage: SPSS, R, Stata etc.
