We are market disrupting media company with products to match. You’ll be working on our legal product, a world leading daily provider of law firm-generated content. We collaborate with the world’s leading lawyers and other thought leaders to deliver tailored updates and analysis to the desktops of business professionals worldwide on a daily basis.
The Business Development Executive Role:
> Generation of new business across allocated products and territory in the International Legal Division.
> Lead generation using both internal and external research resources.
> Development and implementation of a sales plan for products and territory to meet the targets set.
> Assist with the creation of proposals and sales pitches for new products and ensure these are kept up to date.
> Attend conferences and conduct face to face client meetings where appropriate.
> Ensuring sales database is kept up to date by keeping a record of contact with clients and potential clients.
> Ensuring all clients have signed contracts and sales orders are correct in the database.
> Development of cross selling opportunities for fellow team members where possible.
> Consultative approach around legal content marketing with day-to-day client prospects.

> Partners at law firms and professional services firms
> Marketing contacts at law firms and professional services firms
Internally:
> Head of Business Development, International Legal Division
> Managing Director, International Legal Division
> Editorial services team
Business Development Executive Essential Skills:
> Experience of selling products in a B2B or B2C phone based role
> Ability to build rapport with new business prospects
> Self-motivated and driven
> Excellent negotiation skills
> Aptitude for working to targets and deadlines
> Strong communication skills, verbal and written
Desired Skills:
> Academic and/or professional experience of the legal market
You may have worked in the following capacities:
Internal Sales Executive, Telesales Executive, Inside Sales, Junior Sales, Media Sales.
