Finance Business Partner

An interesting contract position has arisen at a NHS organisation for an established finance manager to lead the financial management of one of the key divisions at a London hospital.

Reporting to the Head of Financial Management, and managing a team of three, the Finance Business Partner will play a key role in delivering strategy, guidance and financial advice to appropriate internal/external stakeholders and will play a significant role around cost improvement programmes. This includes managing the regular monthly financial reporting schedule for the division and the development of the staff, which are currently in need of some guidance. In addition, as a senior member of the team, the post holder will contribute to a number of department wide projects and working groups, providing advice to directors and managers across the organisation.

You should be a qualified accountant with substantial post qualification experience in financial management. Ideally this will have been gained in an acute NHS environment and it would be especially helpful if this includes a good understanding of the relationships between providers and commissioners. Strong communication skills are essential to the position as you will be providing a key link between finance and the operational side of the organisation.

This is a great chance to join a determined and hard working team and to take on a challenging and fast-paced role which will add weight to your CV.
