A rapidly improving Secondary school in Croydon, South London is looking to appoint an experienced and dedicated Head of Modern Foreign Languages for a position starting in April 2016.

Ideally you will have worked as a Head of Department previously, however the position is also open to experienced Languages teachers who have taken on extra responsibilities in their current role and are now looking to progress.

You will be managing the Department as well as teaching classes in Key Stages 3 and 4, therefore you will need to have an up to date knowledge of the UK curriculum and will be experienced in preparing pupils for GCSE exams. Part of your role will also be working with the teachers in your Department to develop their teaching skills through supporting them in planning of lessons and classroom management when needed.
