Systems Consultant - Japanese

Indo Fuji Europe Limited is recruiting Systems Consultant roles with fluency in English and Japanese languages. The role will involve working as part of the IT team responsible for IT Technical Development and support in a challenging work environment.

Essentials

The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience in the following.

• Liaise with internal/external clients to analyze business procedures, clarify clients requirements and define the scope of existing software, hardware and network provision


• Manage the team of 1st and 2nd level technical support to all end users, offer updates and chase corrective actions when required in English and Japanese languages.


• Escalate support calls to third parties and follow up to ensure a timely resolution.


• Manage the Team of 1st Level Support to Centralized IT systems to European IT members.


• Provides advice and assistance in the procurement, provision, delivery, installation, maintenance and use of IT systems and their environments.


• Take full responsibility and management of Company IT assets ensure upkeep of records and annual Inventory


• Research, analyze, evaluate and monitor network infrastructure and performance; work closely with clients to implement new systems.


• Assist in the design, deployment and maintenance of SLA’s and OSLA’s


• Manage IT team to carry out day to day IT administration, document management and filing.


• Produce monthly analysis of our service performance, down to departmental level.


• Take responsibility for IT calls which have been assigned, ensure timely resolution, and escalate internally or externally when required.


• Communication both verbal and written, at all levels, needs to be strong and timely.


• Take responsibility for the technical support of applications within and around the group.

Skills Required

• Good communication level in English and Japanese languages


• Proven IT Development and Service desk management background


• Minimum of 1-3 years in a corporate IT organization


• Good knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft operating systems


• Windows Server 2003/2008 experience


• Excellent knowledge of Windows 7 / vista/ XP


• Applications skills, including MS office, Lotus notes and database experience


• Excellent analytical, logical and time management skills


• Must be able to maintain strong levels of customer support in a complex environment and to be able to deal with demanding customers.


• Must be able to prioritize workload and demonstrate the ability to work within time frames and meet deadlines with strong organizational, planning, problem solving and interpersonal skills


• Must be able to document problems and solutions and communicate to the IT Team


• Must be a team player, capable of independent work, study and analysis.

Qualifications

• Degree in Information Technology / Science / Engineering (NQF Level 6 atleast)


• ITIL foundation or similar certifications


• MCITP within the last 3 years preferable.
