In the recent 2015 Excellence in Research for Australia (ERA) ratings, Australian Catholic University received the top score of five – ‘well above world standard’ in both the four and two-digit Field of Research codes for Psychology.

The School of Psychology is seeking to appoint two Professors/Associate Professors of Psychology to expand leadership in the disciplines across both the Strathfield (Sydney) and Brisbane campuses.
Reporting to the National Head of School Psychology, these positions will make a distinguished contribution to excellence in research and teaching, preferably in clinical/ health psychology or neuropsychology, however researchers in developmental cognitive disorders or cognitive development will be considered.
With the opportunity to take on leadership responsibilities within the School, the Professor/Associate Professor positions will attract research funding and maintain a significant international research profile. They will foster and support early and mid-career researchers and further develop productive research collaborations nationally and internationally.
The successful candidates will have an exceptional research track record, with evidence of attracting competitive research funds and research productivity at the highest level. As senior members of the School, the appointees will be expected to possess excellent leadership skills that foster academic mentorship in research and teaching activities across the school.
