The School of Medicine is growing following the launch of the new MBBS programme and BSc Medical Sciences in September 2015, the preparation for the new Physician Associate programme in February 2016 along with planned growth in its postgraduate portfolio in the future.   A new Senior Lecturer post has been established to develop and deliver teaching and assessment in the behavioural and social sciences within the School. 


The post holder will need teaching experience in psychology and the social sciences for the healthcare professions at undergraduate level along with evidence of designing student assessment. 


The successful candidate will have a degree and higher degree in Psychology or the social sciences and a recognised teaching qualification or willingness to undertake such on appointment. An ability to work within a multidisciplinary team and excellent communication skills are essential.
