Senior Production Systems Specialist
Part of the Intelematics Group, Intelematics Europe is a newly formed joint venture company backed by leaders in their respective fields: The AA UK Plc, the largest roadside provider in UK; ANWB, the Dutch automobile club; ÖAMTC, the Austrian automobile club; and Intelematics Australia, a pioneer in the development and operation of telematics services for auto manufacturers, major consumer electronics brands and automobile clubs with established operations in North America and Australia / New Zealand.
The London based Team is being assembled to deliver cutting-edge connected car technology services to enhance the services offered by our customers in Europe. We will be doing this from our newly fitted-out offices in Long Acre, Covent Garden at the heart of London’s dynamic business hub.
Intelematics Europe will leverage the technology platform and know-how of the Intelematics Group, to provide innovative connected car / telematics services directed at Club members in Europe, both in the aftermarket and in collaboration with vehicle-manufacturers. The initial focus for the Team will be on the development of services for the ANWB, AA and ÖAMTC, as well as a number of leading vehicle manufacturers. The services will interface with vehicle diagnostic systems, vehicle dashboards, smartphones, and other smart devices. Products will deliver information and entertainment solutions, insurance services, smartphone integration and remote support services.
The Team will become part of the global Intelematics Group and work collaboratively with our teams in Melbourne (Australia) and Los Angeles, as well as clients in UK and mainland Europe.

Role
As a Senior Production Systems Specialist you will be responsible for the implementation and support of production client facing infrastructure to support the delivery of connected car and telematics programs and to keep all production, development and office systems in optimal order.
The Senior Production Systems Specialist is expected to be proactive and maintain matters pertaining to specifications, operational and maintenance of Intelematics technology and infrastructure, including service levels.
You will be:
- Self-starter and team oriented with a high degree of competency with technical protocols and standards, with an ability to adapt to start-up projects, existing architecture and systems.
- Managing, supporting and implementing all operational technologies related to product development, service provision and technical infrastructure.
- Providing support to the business including detailed reporting on all aspects of infrastructure management, performance, availability, risks and issues.
- Degree qualified in Information Technology with Certification (MCSE, CCNA, A+, etc.) and relevant industry experience.
Key responsibilities of this role:
- Ensure all aspects of technical infrastructure is working at optimal levels, including hosted production environment, communications, office SOE, development, testing and staging environments, internet, security and data systems.
- Support and deliver infrastructure to maintain business KPI’s to its members and customers and contribute to the maintenance of SLA’s, process and technical improvements.
- Provide guidance to the business on all technical infrastructure, service delivery and environment and work with suppliers of hardware, software and application providers.
- Provide after-hours technical support with responses and activations triaged accordingly.
We are interested in candidates that have:
- At least 7-10 years’ experience in the successful delivery of infrastructure and product development in a dynamic, fast-paced integrated environment.
- Experience in network and systems architecture and design and coordinating various IT related projects.
- Experience managing servers in a high availability environment including server administration.
- Knowledge and demonstrable skills in networks, storage and data protection, virtualization, server hardware, scripting, database server management, and data centre operations, web front end, back-up and antivirus.
- Experience in technical requirements, protocols, standards and project lifecycles in an Agile environment is a must.

- Please note that this position requires a security clearance to be undertaken which may include identification checks and review of Police Records. This is a nominated position which may be required to be participate in the On-Call rotating roster to provide after-hours technical support.
