Within our ITV Technology Studios team we have a fantastic opportunity for an Applications Support Manager to join the team. The role will have a mixture of both strategic and hands on elements to the role.

The successful candidate will need a broad range of skills from being able to provide System Administration capability on Windows Servers through to providing support and guidance around production systems such as AVID and/or Adobe Creative Cloud which will give you the knowledge and experience of production workflows from concept to transmission.

Communication is key to the role as is experience of managing suppliers and working in partnership alongside your strong analytical and problem solving skills and your high customer services experience.

Some key responsibilities:
To manage the support and development of a portfolio of business and production applications for ITV Studios, including Production and corporate technologies Support the Business teams in the identification, justification and prioritisation of changes to business applications under domain of control; To work with Business teams to gather requirements for enhancements and changes to applications, and to communicate those requirements to 3 rd party suppliers as appropriate; Provide technical and operational subject matter expertise for applications under domain of control, including acting as system administrator where appropriate; Develop and implement support models for 3 rd party suppliers appropriate to the type of supplier e.g cloud based models / traditional delivery methods; Manage engagement and act as point of escalation with key stakeholders and business users for all applications under domain of control, ensuring high levels of communication at all times; Work with Technology Finance team to ensure assigned budget responsibilities are properly managed and finance policies/procedures adhered to.
