Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Psychology

Full-time permanent post. Lecturer salary within the range £33,242-£38,511 per annum; Senior Lecturer salary within the range £39,685-£47,328 per annum. Job share considered.

The Department of Psychology, Sociology and Social Work seeks to appoint a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer to contribute to our BPS-accredited, joint honours psychology courses. We invite applications from candidates with expertise in any of the core areas of psychology (biological, cognitive, developmental and social) as well as quantitative and/or qualitative data analysis. The successful candidate will be well qualified, passionate about their subject and demonstrably student-centred in their approach.

The post is based in Ipswich and the successful applicant will join a friendly and experienced team. The Department of Psychology, Sociology and Social Work sits within the Faculty of Arts, Business and Social Science at University Campus Suffolk.  We offer a well-established portfolio of courses including criminology, psychology, sociology, youth studies, social work and early childhood studies to 500 students.  There is a good demand for our courses and the Department’s long term strategy is to build on our strengths and continue to develop a high quality, relevant and creative programme. In particular we are looking to expand our current psychology offering at both under-graduate and post-graduate levels.
