About the Role
You will work with departmental academics conducting research on a project entitled ‘The Problems and Practices of Professionals and Care Workers working with Clients who are Sexually Active but not legally able to Consent to Sex’. This role provides an excellent opportunity for you to enhance your research experience and practice a range of research skills: documentary analysis; interviewing; survey analysis; running focus groups; using Nvivo to organise and database the evidence and notate your analysis. There will also be an opportunity to develop expertise in a growing area of research – policy and practice at the intersections of age, capability and sexuality.
About You
You will have evidence of research training, which may include a postgraduate qualification along withdemonstrable research skills. Self-motivated with a painstaking approach to best practice in research, you will demonstrate your ability to work effectively on your own initiative and as part of the wider research team. Excellent organisational skills, a proactive problem solving approach and excellent communication and customer care skills will enable you to succeed in this role.
